Press conference at the Grand Hotel Europe (St. Petersburg)

On May 21 the Grand Hotel Europe (St. Petersburg) hosted a press conference on the opening of the 17th International Musical Olympus Festival that will take place in the Northern Capital from May 22 to June 3.

The press conference was attended by President of the Musical Olympus Foundation Irina Nikitina, Chairman of the Committee For Culture Dmitry Meskhiev, conductors Dimitris Botinis and Mikhail Agrest, and guitarist Cecilio Perera.

The Musical Olympus is a meeting place for winners and laureates of the most prestigious international competitions. This year more than 30 participants from 13 countries will perform at the Festival. During two weeks guest soloists will be accompanied by St.Petersburg best orchestras at the Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall, St Petersburg State Capella, Philharmonic Hall and the Hermitage Theatre.
