Person of the Year 2018

Irina Nikitina, the President of the Musical Olympus Foundation, has been named a Person of the Year 2018 in the annual rating of the national newspaper Musikalnoie Obozrenie (The Musical Review). She received this award as the author and presenter of the Enigma Cycle at the TV Channel Russia – Kultura.

Soprano Sonia Saric got the Audience Award of the 23rd International Musical Olympus Festival

The winner of the Audience Award is determined by listeners voting arranged at each concert of the Festival. The award is a unique jewelry piece by renowned artist Vladimir Mikhailov, an Easter Egg entitled "The resurrection of Christ". Sonja Saric form Serbia is the Grand Prix winner of the International Maria Callas Grand Prix in Opera, Athens (Greece), 2017.

Sir Andras Schiff in Moscow and St.Petersburg

The Musical Olympus Foundation makes a long-awaited present for classical music lovers in Russia – its the performance of one of the most demanded pianists of our days: Sir Andras Schiff.

Maestro will bring two concert programs with works of Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Bach, Schumann and Brahms. The performances will take place on February 9th and 11th in Moscow in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and on February 14th and 16th in the Grand Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonie.
