This Sunday Septembre Musical Festival starts in Montreux and Vevey, Switzerland. A remarkable program dedicated to Russian culture will be offered to the general public: classical music concerts given by world-famous names, performances by dance groups, cinema screenings, theatre performances, talks, workshops, and many more activities. The organizers of the festival report a sold-out: tickets for three of the ten concerts, including the concert of "Musical Olympus" are already sold out.

From 1st to 9th September Montreux and Vevey, the Septembre Musical Festival will be held for the 74th time. For the first time in Switzerland the general public will be offered such a broad program dedicated to Russia and Russian its culture.

Pianist Alexander Klyuchko won The Audience Award of the 24th International Musical Olympus Festival.

On May 29, he has performed Rachmaninoff’s Concerto #3 with the Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg State Academic Cappella under the baton of Nodoka Okisawa.

The Audience Award is the prize awarded upon the results of listeners’ voting held at each of the Festival’s concerts. It is a silver jewelry artwork by Vladimir Mikhailov, an Easter Egg “The Resurrection of Christ”

Irina Nikitina, the President of the Musical Olympus Foundation, has been named a Person of the Year 2018 in the annual rating of the national newspaper Musikalnoie Obozrenie (The Musical Review). She received this award as the author and presenter of the Enigma Cycle at the TV Channel Russia – Kultura.

The winner of the Audience Award is determined by listeners voting arranged at each concert of the Festival. The award is a unique jewelry piece by renowned artist Vladimir Mikhailov, an Easter Egg entitled "The resurrection of Christ". Sonja Saric form Serbia is the Grand Prix winner of the International Maria Callas Grand Prix in Opera, Athens (Greece), 2017.
